HOW MANY WOOD CHIPS DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE ONE CHIP BAG?

Call them French Fries, call them Chips, call them what you will, we eat them by the millions upon millions of tons every year from cardboard containers that take millions of tons of wood chips to produce. Then we throw them out.

Fast food chip packs, drink containers, napkins, burger boxes and tray liners are all eating away at our forests.

Is there a better way?

Until now, the food industry has had no viable, sustainable option to packaging made from forestry. But there is now.

Planet Ecologica have developed “I AM NOT PAPER” tree-free takeaway food, drink containers and accessories from PlantPulp. It looks like paper, feels like paper, acts like paper, prints like paper but it’s not paper. Instead, PlantPulp is sourced from 100% organic plants, agricultural by-product, or the abundance of commercially available post-consumer and recycled tree-free fibre. It uses only substrates that would otherwise go to waste. It's biodegradable, it's recyclable, it's compostable, developed to save trees and promote a more sustainable future.
