To fulfill both sustainability and economic targets, we stripped back the manufacturing process right down to sourcing a sustainable supply of low cost raw materials for use in single use packaging.

To keep up with single use paper packaging needs, forests are being destroyed at record levels. Demand is outstripping supply and it is causing big problems. 

To help solve the problems, too many of us are applying interim ideas that are invariable based on old ideas. To find a final solution and to ease pressure on our planet, we need to collectively step back, revaluate, re-think and reinvent.

As a manufacturer of single use packaging, we set out to do something about it.

INSTEAD OF REINVENTING THE PAPER MAKING PROCESS, WE HAVE REIMAGINED THE MATERIALS THAT GO INTO ITS MANUFACTURE.

Imagine cooking a basic meal. You peel your carrots, potatoes, take the stem off your broccoli, and remove the leaves from your corncob. How about instead of binning those leftovers we put them to good use?

This is the thinking that led us to a solution. What if we took the by-product from agricultural (farming) industries, and turned it into tree-free paper and paperboard?

What would otherwise be discarded is now transformed into what we call PlantPulp, 100% tree-free paper and paperboard. 

It looks like paper, feels like paper, prints like paper, but it's not paper. It's truly green and economically viable, tree-free packaging.

In cooperation with our partners in the ROC agricultural industry, we use discarded plant and agricultural by-product to produce sustainable, economical, high quality tree free paper and board, engineered for use in single use packaging. 

We only use abundant, renewable and manageable raw substrates including grass, corn leaves, wheat stalks, rice husks, reed, sugarcane, coconut shells, bamboo and more.

PlantPulp is biodegradable, recyclable, and commercially and home compostable. It can be produced as flat board or molded packaging, in virtually any GSM and converted into any packaging product.
